Work is now underway on the new business enterprise units at Meadows Road car park in Kidsgrove, with Bailey Construction on site delivering the scheme on behalf of Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council.
The £1.5 million project, supported by Town Deal funding, will create three purpose-built units for small businesses, each offering 27 square metres of flexible floor space complete with a kitchenette, store room, and toilet facilities. The car park itself is being reconfigured as part of the works, with 18 public parking spaces retained once complete.
Since mobilising on site, works have progressed smoothly, and the team is pleased with how the scheme is taking shape. The development is designed to bring a fresh offer to Kidsgrove town centre, creating space for small and start-up businesses alongside the town’s existing shops and services.
Bailey Construction will continue to provide updates as the project progresses towards completion.
