Bailey Construction (Derby) Ltd has been appointed to deliver an exciting new sports facilities project at Repton School, one of the country’s leading independent schools, located in Repton, Derbyshire.
The scheme will see the construction of a brand-new sports pavilion together with two 3G sports pitches and four padel courts, alongside new car parking and extensive hard and soft landscaping. Works are due to include site clearance and demolitions, substructure and retaining wall construction, the pavilion build with associated mechanical and electrical installations, the two floodlit 3G pitches, and four padel courts complete with canopies.
The new facilities will be built on land off Tanner’s Lane, within the Repton School campus, and have been designed to significantly enhance the sporting provision available to students. The school and its neighbouring sports centre will remain fully operational throughout the build, with Bailey Construction working closely with the school to manage site logistics, safety and security around students, staff and the wider public.
The project has been designed by Matthew Montague Architects, with TCQ Surveyors Ltd acting as CDM Principal Designer. Subject to final confirmation, works are programmed to start on site in summer 2026, with practical completion targeted for summer 2027 – a build programme of approximately 12 months.
