Bailey Construction is proud to have completed two refurbishment projects at Over The Wall Camp’s new home at Ockbrook, Derby, helping bring the site closer to “camp ready” for the charity’s young campers.
The Mount
Our team carried out a complete refurbishment of the existing building to create accommodation for campers staying at camp. The works included new mechanical and electrical services, new partitioning throughout to form individual rooms, and full finishes to bring the space up to the standard needed for a warm, welcoming home away from home.
The Mews
Alongside The Mount, we completed a lighter-touch refurbishment of the Mews building, again converting the existing space to provide further camper accommodation.
Over The Wall Camp gives children and young people with serious illnesses and disabilities the chance to enjoy free residential camps, “rediscovering the mischief and magic of childhood” alongside others who understand what they’re going through. We’re delighted to have played a part in preparing their new Derby site for the campers who’ll stay there.
