New Two-Storey SEND Facility Completed at St Clare’s School, Mickleover
Bailey Construction (Derby) Ltd is proud to announce the successful delivery of a purpose-built, two-storey educational facility at St Clare’s School in Mickleover. Designed specifically for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) pupils, the building was completed in just nine months, handed over on time and on budget, and is now fully occupied and in use by pupils and staff.
The project includes modern classrooms, calm learning areas, therapy rooms, and staff spaces – all developed to support the unique needs of SEND students. The new environment is already having a positive impact, providing a safe, welcoming, and fully accessible space for learning and development.
We would like to thank the school leadership, consultants, subcontractors and the wider community for their collaboration and support in making this project such a success.
“The site was complex and difficult due to the very tight restrictions of the existing site and car parking facilities. The site management was exceptional in forming relationships with the school and neighbours. Without the skill, diligence and management of the Bailey’s site staff, without doubt the project would have been more challenging” GNA Surveyors Ltd.
