Bailey Construction successfully completed the refurbishment of an existing building at St Clare’s School, Mickleover, transforming the accommodation to provide modern, functional and high-quality learning spaces while preserving the character of the existing structure.

Delivering the project within a fully operational school required careful planning, close communication and meticulous coordination. Our team worked closely with the school to programme the works around the daily activities of pupils and staff, ensuring the school remained safe, accessible and fully functional throughout the construction period.

Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and safeguarding was a key priority. Robust site management procedures, secure working areas and considerate construction practices ensured minimal disruption to teaching and learning, while protecting pupils, staff and visitors at all times.

The refurbishment involved upgrading the internal spaces to create a bright, modern environment, with high-quality finishes and improved facilities designed to meet the school’s current and future needs.
